The application period for magnet, fundamental and career academy programs/schools beginsJan. 7-20.
To apply online for a school/program using the Student Reservation System (SRS), parents need to have a User ID and password. If parents already have a User I.D. and password, they do not need another one. Only one User ID and password is needed per family, even if the parent has more than one child.
Parents may visit any school to request a User ID and password (bring a photo ID).
Key Dates:
Jan. 7-20 - Application period for magnet, fundamental and career academy programs/schools
Jan. 7, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. - Information Fair, Pinellas Park High School
Jan. 10, 6-8 p.m., South County Information Fair, Gibbs High School
Feb. 9-16 - Acceptance Period
The PMAC (Principal's Multicultural Advisory Committee) would like to thank all the families who donated toys to the drive. Many Azalea children benefited thanks to the generousity of our families and staff members. PMAC will be announcing the grade level winner later this week.
As the weather gets cooler, please be sure to send your child with a sweatshirt, sweater, or jacket. They do NOT have to be uniform colors to wear outside of the classrooms. We do not have enough for all the students needing them.
If you have any uniforms or outerwear that your child(ren) have grown out of we would appreciate the donations so we can offer it to those who may need them.
The car lines are running smoothly and we encourage more families to use the back car circle, especially in the morning. We still have many kids coming in late in the front as there is usually a line, but the back car circle is clear!
Reminders: Please do NOT park in the bus circle, at Gingerbread, or on the side street that faces our school and there is no parking at any time(on the side by the Azalea Rec Center).
We ask everyone to please use the crosswalk when picking up your children. Cutting through the car or bus circle can be potentially dangerous.
If for some reason your child may be going home a different way then they usually do,you need to write a note in the planner. Please do not call the office as we cannot guarantee the message will get to your child in time for dismissal.
